EYE Forlì 2024, The International Community NGO in the spotlight

Election time for Taiwan!   This weekend on Sunday, January 13th the so-called Yuan elections will take place again in Taiwan. On the 13th of September in Strasbourg the European Commission President Ursula von Der Leyen has hold the annual speech concerning the State of the European Union. But what is it and what has been said? Let’s discover all the pros and cons of such an interesting and at the same time challenging idea put forth by some countries in recent years. Although at that specific time, the five permanent members of the Security Council held much of the global power, the current post-1945 international order has been questioned several times and additionally, many challenges have been posed as to whether these countries should hold such a strong power such as veto.
